The Southwest ADA Center, based in Houston, provides information, guidance, and training on all aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act. It serves a broad audience—including employers, businesses, government agencies, schools, and people with disabilities—across its five-state Southwest region (Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas). It operates as part of the ADA National Network and is not an advocacy or enforcement organization and does not provide legal advice. 

The center offers expert staff, training, and publications and maintains a toll-free hotline for inquiries, with recent collaboration with Disability Rights New Mexico noted in its activities. It is a program of ILRU at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston, bringing together individuals with and without disabilities who have extensive experience in the disability field to provide information and technical assistance on the ADA.
