Back in 1890, a group of New Mexico business leaders founded our institution and named it The Las Vegas Savings Bank. Then, in 1965, it was determined that a change of name to The Bank of Las Vegas was necessary to reflect the more diverse nature of the Bank, as it grew to be a full service financial institution. This spring we will again make a change to better reflect the many communities we serve. On March 12, 2012, our Bank became Southwest Capital Bank. We made this change to encompass and include all of the communities we presently serve.
