SCCBank is a non-monetary currency innovation start-up, with expertise in loyalty rewards, reputation systems, and vertical market currencies. 

SCCBank's first currency design is the Carbon Coin. These $20 unit-of-account coins are made out of 10-grams recycled silver, backed by a live carbon credit (to be retired two years after issuance), local student loans, and global micro-loans. Each coin is uniquely identified and linked to SCCBank.com's website, for user transparency, and is freely exchangeable with dollars.  This concept currency design was based on financial-safety, environmental, community value considerations.

We just launched a Software Consulting Services Division at sccbank.com/services, and are currently developing more features into our Environmental Currency, the Carbon Coin.

SCCBank was founded in 2008 by Ken Lynch, and initial development of the organization has included MIT, Stanford, Caltech, Cal and Harvard Alumni.

SCCBank will be seeking angel investment level financing by 2010.
