Space ISAC operates as a member-driven information-sharing platform for the global space industry, coordinating across the space value chain to improve preparedness and response to vulnerabilities, incidents, and threats. It functions as the sector’s primary channel for disseminating timely, actionable information among member organizations. Its members come from the commercial space sector that develops space assets, communications equipment, signals, and software and face threats to their operating technology, business systems, and missions on a daily basis. 
Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Space ISAC sits within the defense and space manufacturing ecosystem and seeks active engagement with federal agencies and government advisors such as NASA, NRO, NSA, NOAA, US Space Command, OSD, NRL, ONCD, and US Space Force. In April 2025, Space ISAC launched a UK Global Hub to promote global threat monitoring and space security through cross-border collaboration and intelligence sharing. The UK Global Hub expansion reflects an effort to connect a broader set of industry participants and strengthen international collaboration.
