Spagnoli Physical Therapy is a privately owned physical therapy practice established in 1994 by Robert Spagnoli with the first location in Centereach, New York. A second location was opened in Mastic, New York in 2004 and is co-owned with Justin Bonacci. Spagnoli Physical Therapy is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. This is accomplished through an eclectic approach that includes a combination of hands on manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise and a strong emphasis on patient education as well as a home program that will optimize and maintain your increased level of function. Our goal is to alleviate pain, return patients to their previous activity levels and prevent future injury through extensive postural re-training and body mechanic awareness.

The highly trained therapists at Spagnoli Physical Therapy embrace a continuum of training in specialized fields and are consistently pursuing advanced education in order to maintain the most current treatment approach and provide the highest quality of care to our patients. This training encompasses a combination of techniques including Functional Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art, Osteopathic techniques, PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), Yoga, Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Neurokinetic Therapy.

Each patient receives a thorough evaluation by a licensed Physical Therapist. The patient-therapist relationship begins with this comprehensive evaluation, in which the individual’s biomechanical and structural dysfunctions are identified and the appropriate individualized treatment plan is established. The patient is educated regarding these objective findings and the plan that will be utilized to achieve their goals. Spagnoli Physical Therapy also emphasizes the importance of a team approach that includes the Therapist, Doctor, patient and other health care professionals who may be involved with the care of the patient.
