Spark Admissions is a boutique, college admissions consulting firm that helps students around the world gain admission to their best-fit colleges, universities and private schools.

Led by Harvard doctorate Rachel Rubin, our admissions counselors possess decades of collective academic advising experience. What’s more, every member of our team has admissions experience at top-ranked colleges and universities.

Dr. Rubin earned international media attention in 2012, while at Harvard, for her groundbreaking research on how the 75 most selective U.S. colleges and universities make admissions decisions. Today, that foundational study grounds our strategic, data-driven approach.

We provide expert guidance on every step of preparing for and applying to college—but we don’t stop there. We view the college preparation period as a time for skill-set development. In addition to application guidance, we help students navigate the academic demands of high school, gain practical experience through internships, heighten their leadership and communication skills, and explore new academics and extracurriculars to build the strongest possible application.
