Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is a regional network of hospitals and care facilities based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, founded in 1921. It operates six hospital campuses, including Spartanburg Medical Center and the Mary Black Campus, Pelham Medical Center, Cherokee Medical Center, Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care, and Union Medical Center, as well as Ellen Sagar Nursing Center and Woodruff Manor, and Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute for cancer care. Through the Medical Group of the Carolinas, a physician network of more than 1,000 doctors across Upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina, SRHS provides outpatient services, surgical centers, and a Level I Trauma Center. In March 2026, SRHS formed a partnership to launch a cohort-based certified nursing assistant career pipeline, expanding workforce development and patient-care capabilities.
