SPC Group's aspiration for a happier world through bread started in Sangmidang, a small bakery in Ongjin, Hwanghae Province, Korea in 1945. 

“SPC” stands for “Samlip/Shany”, “Paris Croissant”, and “Companies (including Baskin Robbins Korea and other subsidiaries)”. The letters SPC are also associated with the tagline: "A Superb Company with Passionate and Creative People".

Our philosophy is "The Best Way to Happiness". The phrase represents our pledge to be a world-class company that contributes to the well-being of everyone around.
