Every team member is accountable to align our conduct with our core values. ✍️ Communicate Effectively. With clients, each other, and everyone else. This is evidenced in our regular coaching meetings, our discussions with clients, and the other members of our team. This means we over-communicate with clients (always in writing), take detailed notes so we can enjoy vacations, be honest with each other, and ensure that our clients are not regularly asking for updates. This also relates to how we advise clients: Often times, we have to tell clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. 🔬 Consider the Small Things. We’re worried about the big things, but our clients pay close attention to the small things. Our clients expect us to do what we say we’re going to do, including calling them on time, billing them when we say we will, and ensuring that we follow the expectations we’ve set for them. 🤓 Geek Out. Be tech proficient so that we can manage the chaos and make our lives easier. If it’s not making our lives easier, we need to fix that. When there’s an issue that is repetitive and consistent, how do we automate it? 🏖 Live your Best Life. We want the firm to ultimately benefit the people who work here, so that they can have a healthy work-life balance. Healthier & happier employees ultimately means better client service and happier clients. Burnout is a common problem in the legal industry, and we want to prevent that. This means that when we’re on vacation, we’re on vacation. If we need to take time off during the day, we can. But, we need to ensure that while we're working, we’re doing what’s necess
