Spirit Gate Acupuncture is an alternative medical practice that stresses holistic medicine and self-healing, offering acupuncture treatments to patients in the area. All initial consultations include patient history and a general examination as well as treatment. In addition to acupuncture, Spirit Gate offers treatments such as massage therapy, acupressure and moxibustion.  


Tom Dorn is a licensed acupuncturist, in the state of Pennsylvania, who specializes in the 5 Element and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) styles of acupuncture. After obtaining a Masters in Acupuncture from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies he went on to become a Diplomate in Acupuncture (Dipl.Ac.), from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Tom’s diverse background of yoga, tai chi, kung fu and qi gong enables him to integrate the perfect modality of holistic healing for every patient’s individual needs.  He approaches every patient with the highest level of care and compassion. Knowing that true well being is the perfect balance of mind, body, and spirit; Tom believes in treating the person as a whole rather then just treating their symptoms. By shifting his focus to the unique needs and nature of each individual, Tom helps promote self-healing and enhance well-being.
