At Spirit2Spirit we believe in making second chances happen. Spirit2Spirit Trauma was founded on the principle of “teaching people how to heal so they can learn how to grow”. Our goal is to help participants or clients identify their “Soul Wound” using holistic, experiential, emotional and spiritual treatments. Trauma Healing Intensives will guide folks on a Healing Journey that will let them Resolve their trauma, Evolve beyond their trauma and allow them to Heal. No one can alter their past. No drug, distraction, or destructive behavior will ever erase the torturous internal strife inflicted by trauma. It will continue to cast its shadow upon your life until you unravel it, understand it and embrace it. Spirit2Spirit’s goal is to provide clinicians and treatment specialists expert knowledge in the field of trauma resolution. This five part training program exposes participants to a number of practical assessments, treatment approaches, and intervention techniques most successfully used when working within such a fragile population of clients. These week long experiential and didactic modules are designed to both improve the clinician’s assessment and intervention skills while also introducing them to a variety of experiential treatment approaches used for gaining the trust and breaking through the remarkable barriers and defenses of those clients who suffer from addiction, unresolved trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This course has been designed and written by trauma treatment professionals who have dedicated their careers to providing direct care and keeping pace with the latest research in the field. Participants will take part in numerous lectures as well as experiential learning opportunities in both intensive group and individual settings to give them first hand working knowledge of how these techniques are effectively executed and then processed within the field of trauma treatment.
