SPIRITUS Ministries operates a retreat center in Menasha, Wisconsin, delivering spiritual programming aimed at youth development. Its missionaries, young adults who commit to nine months of retreat leadership for students in grades 2-12, facilitate worship, dramas, activities, and discussions designed to encourage growth in faith and relationship with God. The organization provides housing, meals, and personal development opportunities such as public speaking, leadership, teamwork, and conflict management, while offering ongoing spiritual direction; no fundraising is required of missionaries. Serving religious institutions and communities, SPIRITUS positions itself within the faith-based education and youth outreach sector, focusing on experiential, community-centered experiences for participating students, with a model that emphasizes service and personal formation rather than financial metrics.
