Founded in 1934 by Spokane Firefighters during the Great Depression, our credit union was built on trust, community, and the cooperative spirit. At a time when confidence in banks was low, firefighters and their families came together to create a financial institution they could count on.

Unlike many credit unions that have broadened membership to the general public, we have stayed true to our roots. Membership remains exclusive to firefighters and their families—the very people we were founded to serve.
