Sport New Zealand promotes, encourages and supports sport and physical recreation to enrich the lives of New Zealanders. We work with a range of organisations and people who share this passion, to create a world-class sports system at all levels – from grass roots to high performance - which will encourage more Kiwis to participate, and reap the benefits of a life-long involvement in sport.
