Sports Connect: A PlayMetrics Company is a mid-sized software development firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. It arose from the combination of three independent youth-sports technology providers—Blue Sombrero, Affinity Sports, and Stack Sports—to create an integrated platform for managing sports organizations. The company serves youth programs, leagues, and associations, aiming to link administrators, coaches, teams, and families with tools designed to save time, reduce burnout, and encourage participation, backed by a service-focused approach. Positioned in the sports technology space, the organization operates globally to support administration and participation across youth sports. It is part of the PlayMetrics portfolio, signaling its place within a broader technology-enabled sports ecosystem. In 2026, reports described potential fraud associated with Affinity Sports LLC, which led Sports Connect to initiate an investigation.
