Squamish-Lillooet Regional District is a local government federation in southwestern British Columbia that delivers a broad mix of regional, sub-regional and local services. Based in Pemberton, it serves about 50,496 residents across four member municipalities—Lillooet, Pemberton, Whistler and Squamish—and four unincorporated electoral areas A through D.

In the government administration landscape, the district coordinates services to meet regional needs across its communities. Recent developments include launching a Fire Services Resiliency Project in Electoral Area B to establish a consistent governance framework for fire services, and advancing service delivery through initiatives such as an online permitting system.
