SST, Inc. (Sunlite Science & Technology, Inc.) was founded in San Jose, California as an LED chip and wafer manufacturing company in 1996. In its early years, SST used Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) technology to fabricate LED chips. Armed with expertise in LED chip manufacturing,

SST began to manufacture UV LED adhesive curing unit in 2005. In 2013, SST partnered with Fujifilm on ink and varnish UV LED curing for printing industry. The developed UV LED Curing System utilizes the Patented COLDCURE LED technology. It represents the most efficient UV-LED system on the market, new or retrofit.  It delivers up to 44% more curing doseage than conventional LED resulting in faster curing, incredible productivity, longer lifetime and cost-saving benefits. The SST COLDCURE LED Curing System is the most efficient UV-LED system on the market and produces so little heat It can be used for flexo printing on shrink film without the need of any chilling system on the press.
