St Andrew’s Cathedral School (SACS) is a coeducational, independent Kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican school, situated in the centre of Sydney’s bustling CBD. As one of Australia’s oldest Anglican schools, SACS is grounded in Christian values in the Anglican tradition, aiming for academic excellence, while underpinning all learning with skills that will equip students for the workforce of 2030 and beyond. Our central, convenient location (spanning two high-rise campuses) means we have a geographic enrolment base across all areas of Sydney. We provide convenience for working city parents, with before and after school care for our Junior School students. Our city location is complemented by Kirrikee, a vast Outdoor Education property in the Southern Highlands, as well as numerous Australia-wide and international educational opportunities in sport, community service, music, drama, languages, history and art. SACS offers Senior College students the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the Higher School Certificate (HSC), both of which are internationally recognised exit credentials. Classrooms have a focus on seamlessly integrating technology, and our school offers a rich variety of co-curricular opportunities that enhance student life. With up to 40 music ensembles, as well as drama, Theatresports, debating, dance and an impressive variety of sporting opportunities, SACS is a place where a student’s potential is limitless. Our teaching staff take part in a progressive professional learning program, where all staff are taking steps to further their own education, experience and career. We are keen to share some of their stories, achievements and experiences here with you.
