The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and interpreting the maritime history of St. Augustine, anchored by a working lighthouse that has guided the area for more than a century. It safeguards six historic structures, preserves more than 19,000 artifacts and archival materials, and supports archaeological research into shipwrecks while engaging visitors through education about maritime heritage and marine sciences. Based in St. Augustine, Florida, the museum operates as a mid-sized institution within the Museums, Historical Sites, and Zoos sector, offering interactive exhibits and guided tours alongside ongoing maritime research. In late 2024 the organization appointed Jason Titcomb as interim executive director, and the year also marked its 150th anniversary, reflecting its long-standing role in the community.
