St. Barnabas Health System is a nonprofit, faith-based health system operating three campuses in Allegheny, Butler, and Beaver Counties in Pennsylvania. Founded in 1900 as a charitable nursing home, it now offers a full continuum of care, including independent living communities, assisted living and memory care, a skilled nursing facility with short-term and rehabilitative services, a medical center, home care, rehabilitation, and hospice. The system serves a broad patient population, providing care to more than 11,000 inpatients and residents each year and conducting about 35,000 outpatient and home care visits. The organization is headquartered in Gibsonia, in the Pittsburgh region. Its charitable framework supports access to care through the Free Care Fund, backed by affiliated entities such as golf courses, grocery stores, radio stations, an auto repair shop, an indoor pool, and other ventures that help fund care for those who cannot afford it. In early 2026, St. Barnabas Charities announced plans for its Founder's Day celebration in April.
