The St. Catherine University Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) program distinguishes itself through its holistic approach and commitment to ethical, effective and enduring leadership. Since 1986, the MAOL program has been transforming working professionals into leaders who thrive amid the challenges, changes and opportunities of today's workplace. The MAOL program engages professional women and men from a wide range of backgrounds to become leaders with the ability to think critically, manage skillfully, act ethically and lead courageously within a global context. Students achieve this through the completion of MAOL course work, the capstone leadership research action project or thesis, and a leadership portfolio. As the first multidisciplinary graduate leadership program in the country, the MAOL program has earned a stellar reputation by responding to the changing needs of our students and the places they work, as well as by constantly adapting our curriculum to prepare leaders for tomorrow's needs today. In the MAOL program, you will likely learn as much from collaborative work with fellow students as you do from your textbooks and instructors. With an average age of 35, the women and men in the program come from diverse backgrounds and represent a wide variety of organizations, including business, not-for-profit institutions, education, healthcare, government and the arts.
