Saint Catherine’s Academy provides a safe, Catholic, formative educational environment which is enhanced by the charism of the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose and a military tradition for boys in kindergarten through eighth grade, both resident and day.

Our program provides structure to a young man’s life, instills character, personal responsibility, a competitive spirit, the ability to determine priorities and an internal drive to excel by taking pride in one’s work and accomplishments.

St. Catherine’s offers a distinctive learning environment for the development of the whole boy; we believe strongly in the benefits of a single-sex school environment, as research studies and science confirm, boys learn differently from girls.

While our students excel academically, we place a strong emphasis upon character development and spiritual growth. We believe that spiritual growth, athletic accomplishments and character development are vital contributory factors in a young man’s overall academic achievements.

We encourage each student to accept personal responsibility, to take pride in his work and to exhibit self-discipline and honor. Students are expected to respect all faculty and each other, while daily enforcement of our Honor Code ensures that the highest ethical and moral standards of behavior are maintained at all times.
