St. Dominic High School is more than a school; it's a family, guided by the Dominican charism of prayer, study, community and service. St. Dominic's roots extend to 1929, when Assumption High School opened in O'Fallon. In 1962, The Archdiocese of St. Louis established St. Dominic as a regional high school serving St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. Our name honors St. Dominic Guzman, patron of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkhill who answered Cardinal Ritter's call to lead the school. Our Faith: Our Catholic faith is at the core of our identity at St. Dominic High School. In addition to our four-year religion curriculum and eight faith based student organizations, the student body regularly participates in Masses, Reconciliation services and retreats. Our Home: St. Dominic's 50-acre campus is among the largest of any Catholic high school in the St. Louis area. We offer a state-of-the-art athletics and performing arts facility, and planning is underway for a new Center for the Sciences expansion. St. Dominic is home to 850 students from a variety of backgrounds: 35 Parishes, 4 Counties = 1 Family With nearly 9000 St. Dominic Alumni and counting - we are proud of our generations of accomplished Crusaders! Forever a Crusader! Vision: St. Dominic will be recognized as a premier Catholic high school in the St. Louis Archdiocese for academic and co-curricular excellence. Guided by Catholic teaching, students will become leaders in the local and global communities. Mission: St. Dominic is a Catholic, college preparatory high school offering young men and women an education rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
