St. Francis de Sales Catholic Parish is a large faith community within the Archdiocese of Chicago, located in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Founded in 1949, it serves more than 4,250 families across Lake Zurich and surrounding communities. The parish conducts Mass at several times, including a Saturday vigil and multiple Sunday services with a live-stream option, and its Ministry Center (completed in 2003) houses the pastoral staff, youth ministry, and religious education offices. Education plays a central role through St. Francis de Sales Catholic School, founded in 1956, serving children from preschool through eighth grade. The school emphasizes academic excellence and faith formation and has been recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2007 and 2018. The parish also supports a broad program of religious education and sacramental preparation, guided by its mission to foster a Catholic faith family that reflects Christ in words and deeds.
