St. John Bosco High School is a Catholic high school in the Salesian tradition. The young man who chooses St. John Bosco High School is provided opportunities to develop his whole person: body, heart, mind and spirit. This unique educational environment is based on Don Bosco’s Oratory Model which sees the school community as a home that welcomes, a school that educates, a church that evangelizes, and a playground that builds relationships among its community members. In Don Bosco’s own words, “This system is based entirely on reason, religion and, above all, on loving kindness.” The academic program at St. John Bosco High School is based on a rigorous college prep curriculum designed to exceed the entrance requirements set by the University of California and California State Universities while meeting the individual needs of the Bosco student. Students are challenged to exceed the minimum college entrance requirements and encouraged to explore a variety of electives and further his holistic development.
