St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf (SJI) teaches deaf/hard of hearing children how to listen and speak. Through the use of technology and uniquely trained professional staff SJI has helped thousands of children listen and speak. SJI services include early intervention for children 0-3 years, preschool and elementary education, outreach services to families and school and the innovative IHear teletherapy program. SJI is accreditated by the Independant School Association of the Central States (ISACS) as well as the states of Missouri, Indiana and Kansas.
