St. Luke’s Hospital is an independent, critical access hospital owned by our community in Polk County, NC. We’re a small nonprofit hospital that is working harder to keep our community healthier.

Using the healthcare industry’s best practices, St. Luke’s provides a plethora of services from high-quality emergency, acute medical/surgical, and diagnostic testing. We are rapidly moving toward achieving our goal of becoming the model for critical access hospitals in the southeast.

To that end and through much hard work, St. Luke’s has earned 5-Stars for patient experience. There are 6,146 hospitals in the United States. And we are one of only 266 hospitals nationwide to receive this distinction.
