Startup Portugal is a non-profit organization, holding the Statute of Public Utility (conferred by Decree-Law 33/2019 of March 4th), whose mission is the development of activities of public interest for the promotion of entrepreneurship, in close connection with public and private entities operating in the national entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Startup Portugal is funded by private and public funds, including those from IAPMEI, I.P. - Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, of the PRR and the European Union, for the four-year period of 2022-2025.

A Startup Portugal é uma organização sem fins lucrativos, detentora do Estatuto de Utilidade Pública (conferida pelo Decreto-Lei 33/2019 de 4 de março), cuja missão é o  desenvolvimento de atividades de interesse público para a promoção do empreendedorismo, em estreita ligação com entidades públicas e privadas que atuam no ecossistema nacional de empreendedorismo.

A Startup Portugal é financiada por fundos privados e públicos, entre os quais os provenientes do IAPMEI, I.P. - Agência para a Competitividade e Inovação, do PRR e da União Europeia, para o quadriénio 2022-2025.
