There's a problem. Capital isn't flowing to our nation's startups. The traditional means of financing them (bank loans, credit cards, private money) have dried up post the 2008 financial meltdown. If entrepreneurs cannot get capital to grow their ideas, they cannot hire Americans and help stimulate the economy. It is time to update the antiquated securities laws (written almost 80 years ago), that grossly restrict how entrepreneurs can raise capital and from whom. We have presented the SEC with a commonsense solution. Now let's get everyone on board and make crowd funding investing LEGAL!
