The State Bar of Nevada is a public corporation overseen by the Nevada Supreme Court that regulates attorneys in the state and runs programs to educate and develop both the legal profession and the public. Founded in 1928, it has a long-standing mandate to serve its members and the public by managing admissions, attorney regulation, and client protection, as well as offering services such as lawyer referral, law-related education, and access to justice. The organization operates two offices in Las Vegas and Reno and provides a range of professional and public-focused services supported by a dedicated staff. In recent years, the bar has pursued partnerships to broaden access to legal services, including a collaboration with Kulr Technology Group and the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada to provide free monthly assistance. It also administers diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, including the DEI Medallion Program launched in 2023 to recognize law firms and legal organizations that advance DEI principles.
