State College Area School District is a public K–12 education system based in State College, Pennsylvania, serving a 150-square-mile attendance area that includes the Borough of State College and the surrounding townships of College, Ferguson, Halfmoon, Harris, and Patton. The district enrolls about 6,900 students and runs nine elementary schools, two middle schools (Park Forest and Mount Nittany), and a high school complex housed in two buildings, offering more than 400 courses at the high school level.
