The SDFL provides high-quality professional developmental football during the summer/fall season while introducing on-field development and business principles and practices for our athletes. The SDFL serves its local communities with pride and dedication and strives to provide fans, family, and friends with a memorable game experience. The SDFL is led by Co-Founders Commissioner Garrick Jones and President Byron Clay and is funded by private investors and an assortment of additional revenue programs. For 2023 the SDFL will consist of Team Texas-Houston, Team Texas-Austin, Team Texas-San Antonio, and Team Texas - Dallas. The league intends to add additional states by each SDFL region once the masses understand the foundation and directions.

We are a league of professional athletes, military veterans, business owners, and entrepreneurs with one common goal, the next level! In business or the gridiron, the SDFL will give our staff and athletes the proper tools to make that transition to the next level a reality. Development is the key to all things SDFL.
