STEM NOLA is a non-profit organization based in New Orleans, Louisiana, focused on making science, technology, engineering, and math engaging for K-12 students across the state. Its mission is to expose students and communities to STEM opportunities, kindle curiosity, and connect learners with hands-on experiences that illustrate real-world applications. Serving the primary and secondary education sector, the organization positions itself as a facilitator of STEM engagement rather than a traditional classroom provider, seeking to broaden access to high-quality STEM education and workforce pathways. The work targets school-aged students and their families in New Orleans and beyond in Louisiana, addressing gaps in exposure and opportunities in STEM. STEM NOLA operates with a mid-sized team and collaborates with schools, partners, and community organizations to deliver programs and events that bring STEM to life. In 2025, the organization announced a partnership with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory to expand its STEM programming.
