Why did we name our company STEM Search Group? Because we saw the gap. Recruiting firms called themselves “technical,” but most were not truly multidisciplinary. Software here. Manufacturing there. Science somewhere else. When roles crossed disciplines or required real depth, many firms stepped back. We believed that was not good enough. Science. Technology. Engineering. Mathematics. STEM is the foundation of innovation. It drives AI and machine learning, advanced materials, robotics, cloud infrastructure, medical devices, energy systems, enterprise platforms, and modern manufacturing. In 2020, after listening closely to clients and predicting how AI would accelerate convergence across industries, we made a deliberate decision. We would build a search firm structured around STEM itself, not narrow recruiting lanes. If it is scientific, technical, engineering, or manufacturing talent, we handle it. Deep tech. Traditional tech. Enterprise IT. Industrial innovation. Advanced and traditional manufacturing. We recruit AI and ML engineers, software engineers, embedded and systems engineers, scientists, manufacturing leaders, process engineers, plant managers, and technical operators who scale innovation into production. Our leadership reflects that scope. One Co-Founder brings 20+ years recruiting niche tech and healthcare talent, including patent-level AI and ML searches. The other holds a Materials Science Engineering degree and 20+ years in executive search and tech recruiting. Our VP has 20+ years supporting leading manufacturing and engineering companies. Our research is led by a doctoral candidate in Atomic Physics. It is rare to find a recruiting partner with that combination of scientific training, technical depth, and executive search experience under one roof. We leverage modern AI-enabled sourcing tools, but we keep experienced humans in the loop. Complex hiring requires judgment and technical fluency. If it falls under STEM, we take it on.
