Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad was established in 1964. Our mission of is to provide the highest level of Emergency Medical Care and Rescue Services to those who require our assistance. Additionally, Sterling Rescue strives to provide a vibrant Community Education program to decrease injuries and medical emergencies in our community. Sterling Rescue consistently serves with Dedication, Excellence and Compassion.

For over 50 years Sterling Rescue has been staffed with 100% Volunteer Members dedicated to completing the Squad's mission.  Today opportunities await new volunteers who join the ranks and contribute to the organization and community. 

With an annual  call volume of over 7,000 (an average of 18 calls per day), Sterling Rescue offers an opportunity to gain significant practical EMS and Rescue experience.

Recruiting Priorities Include:
 - Heavy Rescue Personnel (Rescue Technicians)
 - ALS Providers (Paramedics)

Most Important Sterling Rescue is looking for people with strong character and work ethic. No experience is required and free training is provided. Immediate opportunities exist for:

 - Logistic Support
 - Fleet Management
 - CPR Instructors
