Steve is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Ohio and has been admitted to practice before various Federal district and appellate courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. Steve is a member of the Employee Benefits Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation (he is currently assigned to the subcommittee on retirement plan distributions). In addition, he is a member of the Illinois, Ohio and Dayton Bar Associations as well as the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Steve received his Juris Doctor degree from the Washington University School of Law (St. Louis). Steve has participated in numerous employee benefits-related conferences including conferences sponsored by the Ohio CLE Institute; the University of Dayton School of Law; the Society of Actuaries; the International Foundation of Employee Benefits; the Dayton Bar Association; the Association of Management Accountants and the Northeast Ohio Employee Ownership Association.
