Stockport County is a professional football club based in Manchester, in the North West of England. Founded in 1883, it began as Heaton Norris Rovers and adopted the Stockport County name in 1890. The club has played at Edgeley Park since 1902 and currently competes in League One, the third tier of the English Football League following their 2023–24 League Two title.
