Founded in 2012 by Dale Killmeyer and Charlie Schliebs, Stone Pier Capital is a boutique merger & acquisition advisory firm, advising mostly sellers (sell-side) but also advising buyers (buy-side), with additional specialties in strategic and financial advisory services such as capital and debt restructuring, debt refinancing, etc.  In addition to advising on sales or purchases of all of a company, we often advise on hybrid sales where the original owner retains a significant percentage of the company, continues as President or CEO, and looks to "take a second bite of the apple" upon a later sale. Our projects generally cover industries where we are experienced and add extra value.  In the energy space, a primary area of focus for us, this includes projects in shale gas (upstream, midstream and downstream), including multiple oilfield services assignments, as well as nuclear services, wind and solar, renewable methane, coal, and other energy projects.  Often related to energy, we have extensive experience representing significant engineering and construction companies.  In healthcare and life sciences, we have worked on projects in the biopharma, health & wellness,  healthcare software and services, workers compensation patient management and related manufacturing industries.  In addition to projects for the general manufacturing, distribution and business services companies that are common in the region, we have also handled projects for a diverse array of other companies, including an international broadcast media company, a publicly-traded computer games technology company, an artisan food maker, and a craft brewery.   While our clients have been in locations such as CA, FL, New England,  and eastern PA, the vast majority of our projects have been located in the western PA/OH/WV area.

To provide high-level M&A, financial and strategic advisory services to lower middle market companies often not able to access such services at a reasonable cost.
