STR Marketplace operates as a partner to sports teams and venues to build and run team-branded online marketplaces where season-ticket holders can sell or transfer the rights to their seat locations to interested buyers. The platform is designed to create a practical channel for buyers and sellers while supporting season-ticket renewals and generating value for the teams or venues involved. The company positions itself within the spectator sports industry, connecting teams, venues, and their ticket holders through these dedicated marketplaces. Based in Houston, Texas, the organization serves a range of professional sports entities and venues, including notable team and event partnerships. A concrete development in its history is the 2011 partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles to offer a service for buying and selling Eagles Stadium Builder Licenses.
