Head Start serves low-income and at risk children. Children who are homeless or whose parent is an active duty military member are automatically eligible for Head start Services. Strafford County Head Start provides center and home-based early childhood education for Strafford County New Hampshire. We currently serve approximately 300 children in Strafford County. We have five centers. Centers are in Dover, Somersworth, Rochester, Farmington and Milton. We accept applications throughout the year.
