Strangeloop is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, storefront theater company in Chicago, whose mission it is to pursue the undiscovered by producing new works, telling big stories and working through collaboration. Sometimes that means producing company derived pieces and sometimes that means taking a well known work and — through improvisation and collaboration — creating something new or different. We produce two mainstage shows a year, one holiday show, one Valentine's Day vignette-style production and one summer showcase/workshop of short pieces or scenes from works in progress.
