The Robert Strauss Center for International Security and Law is a higher education research center that integrates expertise from across the University of Texas at Austin and from private and public sectors to address emerging international security and law challenges. Located at 2315 Red River Street in Austin, Texas, United States, the center sponsors a broad range of research programs and educational initiatives. Its recent activity includes launching the 2024-2025 Brumley Next Generation Scholars program, a 2024 project on Surveillance and the Rule of Law, and a 2023 grant-funded initiative for the Applied Cybersecurity Community Clinic, as well as the Joint Studies Program launched in 2022. In 2022 the center announced leadership and fellow appointments, including the appointment of a new Director.
