We develop solar urban furniture for smart cities. Strawberry energy has a mission to enhance the experience of people in public spaces by creating a network of smart street furniture to keep them connected. Proudly, for the last 13 years we have delivered smart city solutions in over 90 cities in 30 countries across 5 continents. We are excited to expand to more cities, blending into any public space and representing a smart step towards a green future. Powered by solar energy our Smart Benches enable charging for mobile devices, WiFi, air quality monitoring and local info in public spaces. They are easily installable, establish and encourage smart solutions for: parks, public squares, pedestrian zones, town centres, promenades, high streets, shopping and retail parks, universities, schools, business campuses, transport stations, tourist attractions, entertainment venues, theme parks etc. Our first innovation Strawberry Tree was awarded 1st prize at the European Commission’s Sustainable Energy Week 2011 in Brussels and was named as one of the ‘top ten urban innovations that work’ at the New Cities Summit 2014 in Dallas. We won Verge Accelerate 2014 in San Francisco and were a finalist for the World Technology Award 2013. Most recently, Strawberry Smart Benches were shortlisted at A Smarter City programme ‘Smart Green Spaces’ organised by The City Centre in partnership with The City of London Corporation and Brookfield.
