StreetWise Georgia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Lawrenceville, GA, with a mission to offer the necessary physical, emotional, mental and spiritual tools to help people stabilize their lives, improve their environment, and move out of a state of dependency into a state of well-being and self-sufficiency. 
 
We provide immediate essentials like food, clothing, and hygiene items, while also offering long-term solutions through financial literacy classes, job readiness training, and emotional support services. We offer a hand-up, not just a hand-out, to empower the individuals and families we serve. 
 
As a central hub for community support, we strive to meet both the physical and emotional needs of our clients. Every month, we rely on the time and talents of over 700 volunteers to keep our operations running smoothly. From client intake and warehouse organization to phone support, grant writing, and event logistics, there are opportunities for everyone to make a difference. We also host a Monthly Saturday Food Pantry and special community events, each requiring 75+ volunteers to serve hundreds of families.
