STROIK Lighting Design is a small, full-service lighting design practice that collaborates with designers, architects, landscape architects, developers, contractors, and private clients to develop and realize lighting concepts. It emphasizes analyzing project requirements to maximize sustainability, maintainability, excellence, and transcendence, delivering light-based solutions that meaningfully enhance spaces. Led by Christopher V. Stroik, the studio treats design challenges as opportunities to explore formal, meaningful, and pragmatic aspects expressed through light.

Based in Washington, D.C., the firm serves a broad spectrum of facilities including art and history museums, civic memorials, corporate offices, government and research spaces, medical facilities, hospitality venues, landscapes, and private residences. The founder's background in architecture and museum design, including time at George Sexton Associates, informs the studio's approach and has been recognized with awards such as the 2022 IES DC Candela for the EPA Conference Center and Wolf Trap Backstage projects.
