Who we are:
StrongBox was founded in 1985 to meet the need for weather and vandal resistant enclosures. In 1991, StrongBox joined V.I.T. Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of tree support products, to provide the highest level of quality products and services in the landscape and irrigation industry.

Today, StrongBox is a division of MUM Industries, and a leader in Stainless Steel and Aluminum enclosures, specializing in service pedestals, backflow and pump enclosures, and cabinets for DOT applications. Our main office and factory is located in Escondido, California (San Diego County) with representation throughout the United States and Canada.

What We Do:
StrongBox manufactures high quality stainless steel, steel and aluminum enclosures bearing the trade name StrongBox. StrongBox enclosures are used by irrigation, plumbing and electrical industry professionals to mount and protect electrical and electronic controls as well as protection for backflow prevention devices. Strong Box enclosures feature vandal resistance features and are available in many models. Additionally, Strong Box manufactures a line of horticultural tree tying products. Cinch-Tie and Twist-Brace are used by landscape professionals to properly support new plants in their new environment.
