Student Veterans of America is a national nonprofit in the higher education sector focused on supporting student veterans. Based in Washington, DC, it coordinates a large network of on-campus chapters across all 50 states and four countries. These chapters, led by chapter leaders and representing nearly 600,000 student veterans, provide resources, networking opportunities, and advocacy to strengthen their communities.

The organization pursues its mission by helping student veterans connect, develop skills, and realize their potential through structured programming and peer networks. In May 2025, SVA partnered with Blue Star Families and With Honor Action to host the Do Your Part: Higher Ed to the Hill event, a national discussion on how colleges can better support military-connected students and their families.
