The Student/Farmworker Alliance is a national network of students and young people organized with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers to address sweatshop conditions in farm fields and to advance a food system characterized by justice and dignity for farmworkers. It serves as the youth leadership arm of the Alliance for Fair Food. Based in Immokalee, Florida, the organization operates with a very small staff. The group emphasizes developing the leadership and organizing skills of students and youth, enabling them to engage in social justice work across communities. It facilitates educational exchanges between students and farmworkers to explore how issues within the corporate food system intersect and affect people on different sides of the supply chain. It supports worker-led campaigns for better wages, respect, and dignity, aiming for a broader vision of collective liberation; in October 2019, it launched the Milk with Dignity campaign.
