Students of the World is a San Francisco–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the media production space that supports a diverse network of student and emerging filmmakers. Its aim is to help the next generation of visual storytellers use creativity as a force for good and pursue careers with purpose. By connecting its community with opportunities to tell stories that shape their future and the world, it provides education, training, resources, and a platform that broadens reach and potential for impact.

Its partnerships span nonprofits and brands such as the Clinton Global Initiative, Nature Conservancy, Livestrong, Water.org, Pivot TV, Participant Media, Silk, Hyundai, and Stonyfield Farms. Based in San Francisco, the organization operates as a small nonprofit within the media ecosystem, and in October 2015 announced a public voting option for its ilookup film challenge.
