We do this by listening to clients and considering how their spaces will be used before translating their goals and needs into creative and responsible design — no matter the size of the project.

Architect Matt Taylor founded Studio 8 Design in 2005. He leads our team of creative and responsive professionals passionate about architecture, our clients and each other. 

Our diverse experience includes ground-up commercial, adaptive reuse, tenant buildout and improvement and custom residential architecture throughout the Southeast. In all our work, we strive to positively impact the built environment in a thoughtful way.

Studio 8 Design is based on historic Rutledge Hill, adjacent to downtown Nashville, Tenn., but our collaboration with clients, building users, communities and team members extends far beyond these walls as we engage in the creative design process.
